A ski week for 12 is prepared like a project: a budget by item, group purchases, clear roles. Price comparisons already exist on this guide; this article deals with organising a group. For rental shops and detailed prices, see our guide to ski rental in La Bresse and our comparison of lift passes in the Vosges.

Set the budget, item by item

The budget for a week for 12 is built on five items, which every member of the group should see before committing.

AccommodationWeekly price, linen, cleaning, deposit, tourist taxOwner’s contract

To compare households, set up a table with one column per family and one row per item: everyone sees their share before paying.

Lift passes: what applies to a group of 12

The ski area operator states on its price page: “Tarif groupe : à partir de 20 personnes. Nous consulter.” (group rate from 20 people, on request). At 12, a group is below this threshold. The Tribu offer applies instead: an extra 10% off when buying at least 3 passes of the same duration at the same time, including at least one adult and one child under 17, excluding season passes. The page states that the offer is not valid on student passes, that it can be combined with other promotions except “bon plan ski” and early booking, and that it also gives 10% off sledging evenings. Validity dates do not appear there.

Three practical consequences. Group your purchases by identical duration, because the condition applies to passes of the same duration. Passes are named and non-transferable: a pass cannot be lent. Proof of age may be requested for online purchases: tell the families to prepare the documents. Children under 5 get free passes according to the price page; for other ages (child, youth, adult, seniors), read the thresholds on the page itself, which shows different figures in different places.

Collect the passes for 12 without queuing

On its Useful information page, the operator states that collection of passes bought online (excluding home delivery) takes place at the group ticket office, inside the building, facing the snow front, just before the ESF offices, under the arcades. Name one person to collect the passes for the whole group, with the list of names.

Rent the equipment

The operator’s page lists nine rental shops in La Bresse and Xonrupt-Longemer. Three offer online booking: Skishop La Bresse, Skiset Locaski in Xonrupt-Longemer and La Scierie. For the others, no online booking is mentioned. The page gives no price, no group conditions and no package combined with the lift pass: ask one or two shops for a group quote, with the list of shoe sizes, sizes and levels.

For 12 people, set a single day and time for pick-up, rather than in order of arrival.

Ski lessons: choose early

The tourist office states that two ski schools, ESF La Bresse and Moonshot, supervise young and old with qualified instructors. With 12, split the levels before booking: beginners in group lessons, advanced skiers on their own.

Car equipment and holiday dates

From 1 November to 31 March, a winter equipment obligation applies in the communes designated by the prefecture: read our article on winter tyres in La Bresse. The 2026 Christmas holidays run, in metropolitan France, from 19 December 2026 to 4 January 2027 according to Service-Public.gouv.fr. For the season opening dates and snow conditions, see our pages on the ski opening and the snow conditions.
