Gérardmer announces a forecast opening of its ski area on Saturday 19 December 2026, the very day La Bresse Hohneck plans to open. The official 2026/2027 price grid is published on the resort’s website. Here are its amounts, reread on 11 October: high and low season passes, the season pass pre-sale and the cross-country fee at Bas Rupts.
Opening: a forecast, not a firm date
The banner on the home page of gerardmer-ski.com reads “forecast opening of the ski area from Saturday 19 December 2026, depending on snow conditions”. Actual conditions can be followed on our page on snow conditions in Gérardmer and La Mauselaine. The neighbouring La Bresse Hohneck resort announces the same date: see the 2026-2027 ski season in La Bresse.
2026/2027 passes: high season and low season
Two grids apply. High season covers weekends and school holidays of all zones France and Benelux. Low season covers Monday to Friday outside holidays. The day runs from 9 am to 4:30 pm, the half day from 9 am to 1 pm or from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| High season adult | 37 euros | 30 euros | 24 euros | 15 euros |
| High season child (under 16) | 30 euros | 25.10 euros | 22 euros | 12 euros |
| Low season adult | 31 euros | 26 euros | 21 euros | 13 euros |
| Low season child (under 16) | 26 euros | 21 euros | 19 euros | 11 euros |

For a stay, the multi-day pass applies from two consecutive days, with a photo required: in high season 33 euros a day and 27 euros a half day for an adult, 27 and 22 euros for a child; in low season 29 and 24 euros for an adult, 24 and 19 euros for a child. The sixth consecutive day is free. The day or half-day price is multiplied by the number of days.
Several reductions complete the grid:
- Tribu: from 3 paying passes, 2 adults at most. In high season, 33 euros a day for an adult and 27 euros for a child; for multi-day, 30 and 25 euros. The low-season tribu rate repeats the standard low-season prices.
- Group of 15 or more: 33 euros a day for an adult in high season and 27 euros for a child; in low season, 29 and 24 euros. People over 65 get the group rate.
- Free for under 5 and over 75, except on the season pass and multi-day passes. A 50 percent reduction on presentation of the CMI card marked disability, for a disability of 80 percent and above, on all passes except the season pass.
- Beginner, valid on the Petite Mauselaine and Crête drag lifts with one chairlift ride: 15 euros a day and 13 euros a half day for an adult, 13 and 11 euros for a child.
- Chairlift ticket: 6 euros up, 8 euros up and down (possible depending on crowds, ask at the ticket offices).
The pass support card costs 2 euros, non-refundable but valid with no time limit and reloadable online. Assur’Glisse insurance costs 3.10 euros a day and 44.60 euros for the season. The ticket offices open from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm.
The season pass: 435 euros, or 320 euros in pre-sale
| Profile | Season pass | Pre-sale (until the day before opening) |
|---|---|---|
| Adult | 435 euros | 320 euros |
| Student, school pupil, over 65 | 395 euros | not specified |
| Child under 16 | 350 euros | 260 euros |
The pre-sale is the only reduced rate announced on the page. It runs until the day before opening, forecast for 19 December. A photo is required, and the alpine season pass gives free access to the Bas Rupts nordic area. The online ticket shop forfaits.gerardmer-ski.com still displayed a reduced-price banner valid until 19 December 2025: rely on the grid on the resort’s website.
Cross-country skiing at Bas Rupts
The Bas Rupts nordic area in Gérardmer has its own fee for the 2026/2027 season. The runs are open from 9 am to 4 pm and the ticket office from 9 am to 3 pm.

A pre-sale of the nordic season pass, at 50 euros for an adult and 30 euros for a child, stays valid until the day before opening. The support card costs 2 euros and day insurance 1.50 euros. Under 5s and over 75s enter free by the day. For comparison, cross-country skiing at Lispach costs 10 euros a day for an adult in 2026-2027, and the tracks of Ventron, Truches and Haut du Tôt show no pass: see cross-country skiing without a pass around La Bresse.
Gérardmer or La Bresse Hohneck
At La Bresse Hohneck, the resort’s price page shows 41.50 euros a day for an adult, against 37 euros in Gérardmer in high season and 31 euros on weekdays. The comparison of passes across the massif uses this official price list: see the price of a ski pass in the Vosges for the other areas. To stay in Gérardmer, see our guide to Gérardmer hotels.
