La Bresse Hohneck ski resort announces that its ski area will open on Saturday 19 December 2026, the first day of the Christmas holidays, for a season running until 21 March 2027, subject to snow conditions. Two deadlines come first: 19 October for passes of 6 days or more, and 19 November for the season pass, both at reduced early-booking prices. Here is the full calendar and what it changes when planning a stay.

The opening: what the resort announces

On its ski area page, the resort announces opening from 19 December 2026 to 21 March 2027, subject to snow conditions. The area stretches from 900 to 1,350 m in altitude, with 15 lifts, 450 m of vertical drop and 360 snow cannons. The announced season therefore starts after the Toussaint (All Saints) holidays: for a stay in October, walks and ideas for October in La Bresse make up the programme.

Night skiing sessions run every Friday and Saturday evening and every day of the French and Benelux school holidays, from 19 December 2026 to 6 March 2027. The night pass from 5pm to 9.45pm costs €34 at the adult rate (€32.30 youth, €28.90 child). Dawn skiing, from 6am on the floodlit slopes, is offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings and every day of those same holidays, until 7 March 2027: the 6am-1pm pass costs €41.50 at the adult rate (€39.40 youth, €35.30 child). These sessions may be changed in exceptional conditions.

Early booking: two deadlines

The season pass gives access to all dawn and night sessions, 8 free hot drinks at the Le Slalom bar-restaurant and 6 free ski days at other Labellemontagne resorts with the SkiPlus card. It can be cancelled and refunded without conditions, on simple request, up to the day before the ski area opens: buying early therefore stays reversible until that date.

For a family, the Family Season offer sets season passes for children and young people up to age 17 at €40, provided you buy two adult season passes (€1,159.20 for the two). It is valid all season and cannot be combined with early booking. A calculation based on the published prices shows that the best choice depends on the children’s ages:

  • two adults and a 10-year-old: €1,123.90 with early booking (2 × €463.60 plus €196.70), against €1,199.20 with the family offer;
  • two adults and a 15-year-old, whose season pass costs the same as an adult’s: €1,390.80 with early booking, against €1,199.20 with the family offer.

As a benchmark for a single person, the adult season pass with early booking (€463.60) costs a little more than 11 day passes at €41.50 (11 days come to €456.50): from 12 days of skiing in the season, it costs less than day passes, other discounts aside.

For a week’s stay, the Tribe offer takes 10% off from three passes of the same duration bought together, including one adult and one child under 17 (season pass excluded); it cannot be combined with early booking or with the ski deals. Budget also for the €2 pass card, refundable if returned in good condition, and Assur’Glisse insurance (€3.10 a day, €44.60 for the season), as the resort points out that rescue is chargeable. The other passes are detailed in our comparison of ski passes in the Vosges.

In what order to organise

  1. Fix your dates around the school holidays: daily dawn and night sessions follow the Christmas (19 December to 3 January) and winter calendars (until 7 March for zone B).
  2. Choose your pass before 19 October or 19 November, depending on the type.
  3. Book accommodation: see where to stay in La Bresse and our selection of chalets near the slopes, or go straight to our chalets in La Bresse.
  4. Plan equipment and lessons: ski rental, ski lessons and schools and learning to ski in La Bresse.
  5. Follow the snow as opening approaches: our snow conditions guide and the webcams of the Vosges mountain passes.

For the rest of the resort (runs, sectors, night skiing), the complete guide to skiing at La Bresse Hohneck covers everything.
