The All Saints holidays end on Sunday 1 November and classes resume on Monday 2. November is not a dead month, though: the La Bresse Hautes Vosges tourist office calendar lists a remembrance exhibition, a first geek flea market, a comedy festival in Vagney, two film debates and the Christmas markets that are coming. Every date below was reread on the event’s listing on 11 October. A programme can change: call the organiser before you set out, whose number appears on most listings.

The last weekend of the holidays is covered in our All Saints calendar. Here are three events that run past 1 November.
The Amis de Pforzheim exhibition takes place at the Maison de La Bresse (7A rue de la Clairie) from 31 October to 11 November, every day from 10 am to 6 pm, free admission. For local background, read the history of La Bresse and its reconstruction in 1944. Information on 03 29 62 65 95.

From 2 November to 18 December, the listing announces opening every day except Tuesday, 10 am to noon and 2 to 6 pm, at 6 euros for an adult and 3 euros for a child. Our museum visit guide describes what you see there.
The Jardins de Bernadette in Vagney (1 le Peupré) present a photo exhibition until 31 December, free and freely accessible: Alain Laboile shows “L’école du dehors” (the outdoor school), alongside the work of Michel Laurent with the schools of Lusse and Sapois.
