Five markets take place every week in the Moselotte valley and in Tendon, one for almost every useful morning of a stay. The La Bresse Hautes Vosges tourist office lists them all year round, whatever the weather, and entry is free on each listing. The days and times below were reread on those listings on 6 October 2026 and apply to 2026: the Cornimont, Tendon and La Bresse listings show no dates beyond the end of December 2026.
The five markets at a glance
| Day | Market | Time | Place |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wednesday | Saulxures-sur-Moselotte | 8.30am to 12.30pm | avenue Jules Ferry |
| Thursday | Cornimont | 8am to noon | place de la Pranzière |
| Saturday | Thiéfosse, covered market | 8.30am to noon | Ferme aux Hirondelles, ZAE du Val Moselle |
| Saturday | Tendon, local organic market | 10am to noon | village square |
| Sunday | La Bresse | 8am to 1pm | place du Champtel |
For La Bresse, the tourist office markets page says 8am to 1pm, while the text of the listing says 8am to 12.30pm. The gap is thirty minutes: it is better to go before noon.
What each listing announces
In Saulxures-sur-Moselotte, the listing describes a food market with local produce and regional specialities. The Cornimont market adds crafts to that list. La Bresse brings together local products, regional specialities and food.
The Tendon market is called the local organic market. Its listing names the products of the producers present: cow, goat and sheep dairy products, beers, herbal teas and aromatic plants, fruit juices, honey, pasta, bread, vegetables and eggs.
In Thiéfosse, the market is held in the workshop of the Ferme aux Hirondelles, under cover. The listing recalls that it was voted Most beautiful market in Lorraine in 2024, and describes a refreshment bar and cultural events: photo exhibitions, signings by local authors, concerts, demonstrations of traditional skills, a festival of local micro-breweries and Christmas markets. It is the only one of the five that the tourist office presents as covered.
During the All Saints’ holidays
The holidays run from Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. Over that period the markets fall on these dates:
- Saulxures-sur-Moselotte: Wednesdays 21 and 28 October
- Cornimont: Thursdays 22 and 29 October
- Thiéfosse and Tendon: Saturdays 17, 24 and 31 October
- La Bresse: Sundays 18 and 25 October
Sunday 1 November is a public holiday: no listing says whether the La Bresse market is held that day, so call the tourist office on +33 3 29 25 41 29 before you travel.
To extend your shopping
Producers of Munster, tomme and honey are covered in our guide to Vosges cheeses and producers and in the one on farmhouse Munster. If you pass through Gérardmer, its schedule is different: see the Gérardmer market. In December, the tourist office listing announces the La Bresse Christmas market from 4 December: all the details are in Christmas in La Bresse.
