The 2026 Navette des Crêtes reaches the Vosges summits without the parking pressure of the Route des Crêtes. From La Bresse, Fluo route 88R003 climbs to Col de la Schlucht, where the summit shuttle serves locations including Hohneck, Markstein, Grand Ballon and Lac Blanc.

2026 operating dates

The service runs from 30 May to 27 September 2026:

  • every day from 1 July to 31 August;
  • Saturdays and Sundays in June and September.

Times vary by route and date. Check the official 2026 map and Massif des Vosges information and plan the exact journey with the Fluo Grand Est journey planner.

Which route from La Bresse?

Route 88R003 links Remiremont, La Bresse and Col de la Schlucht. At the pass, summit route 68R095 runs between Lac Blanc and Grand Ballon. Check the connection and return time before choosing a walk.

The Lac des Corbeaux shuttle is a separate local service. See our 2026 Esti’Lac shuttle guide when the lake is your destination.

Bicycles, groups and dogs

Bicycles require advance booking with the operator. La Bresse Tourist Office states a maximum capacity of six bicycles and excludes electric bikes. Groups of ten or more must also book.

Dogs are accepted under conditions. Larger dogs may need a muzzle depending on the driver and occupancy; small animals travel on the passenger’s lap. Guide dogs are accepted.

Planning a car-free day

For Col de la Schlucht, choose a walk that leaves a safe margin before the return bus. Our Col de la Schlucht hiking guide separates easier starts from more demanding routes.

For the Hohneck and high meadows, use the summit route and check mountain weather before leaving. Our Hohneck hiking guide outlines the main options.

A point-to-point walk between two shuttle stops avoids retracing your steps, but it depends on the exact direction and timetable. Do not build the day around catching the final service with no fallback.

Before boarding

  • use the timetable for the travel date, not an old screenshot;
  • identify both the valley route and summit connection;
  • check the last return service;
  • book for a bicycle or a group of ten or more;
  • review the La Bresse and summit weather;
  • keep a shorter walking option for changing conditions.
