The Gérardmer fireworks on 14 August 2026 are listed from 10 pm to 10.30 pm at the lake. They form part of “Jonqui fête”, a day organised on Quai de Waremme by Gérardmer’s Société des fêtes. We checked the details on 14 July 2026.
The display is still a month away and may be postponed or cancelled for weather, drought or safety reasons. We will check this page seven days, three days and one day before the event. Consult the official channel before travelling.
Confirmed date and time so far
The Gérardmer town event page lists Friday 14 August, from 10 pm to 10.30 pm. The official 2026 activities and services guide also places the “14 August fireworks” at Lake Gérardmer.
The Société des fêtes organiser places “Jonqui fête” on Quai de Waremme. Its programme starts at 2 pm with music and large wooden games, continues with DJs until the 10 pm fireworks, then resumes from 10.30 pm to 12.30 am. Drinks and fast food are planned on site. The same organiser runs the Gérardmer Daffodil Festival.
When checked, the sources did not specify the firing point, a public viewing perimeter or a special parking plan. The organiser mentioned unnumbered bench seating and forthcoming advance sales, but not all terms were available. We therefore do not reproduce a price or arrangements from an older edition.
14 August is separate from Bastille Day
The 14 July 2026 Bastille Day display was cancelled under a drought order. The 14 August display is a separate event, scheduled after that announced ban ends on 1 August.
Its status can change before mid-August. If the authorities publish a new order or cancellation, this guide will state it clearly. Do not bring private fireworks to the lakeshore.
Travelling from La Bresse
Gérardmer is reached from La Bresse by a mountain road. Event traffic and parking searches can extend the journey. As neither checked source recommends a specific car park, wait for the town’s instructions instead of using an old plan found online.

Checks before setting out
On 14 August, reopen the municipal calendar and confirm that it still displays 10 pm. Check for alerts from the prefecture, town hall or tourist office too. If no access zone is published, do not assume that lakeside areas or car parks used in another year will be open.
Current position on 14 July: Friday 14 August 2026, 10 pm to 10.30 pm, at Lake Gérardmer, subject to a final check near the event.
