Ventron, a mountain village at the gates of La Bresse, brings together three addresses that are indoors or nearly so during the All Saints’ holidays: an educational farm, a house of craftspeople and the textile museum. The dates below come from the tourist office listings and the museum website, reread on 6 October 2026. The Ventron tourist office is on place de la Mairie (+33 3 29 24 07 02).

The Complicités animales educational farm

The farm is at 21 chemin des Petits Prés. Its guided tour leads from one small livestock enclosure to the next, with a playful activity for each species. It lasts 1h to 1h30, takes place outdoors (the listing advises warm clothes) and is by reservation only, on +33 6 63 68 44 89. The price is 9 euros per person, adult or child, free under 1 year.

They also appear in the All Saints’ agenda for La Bresse.

The Ventron craft house

At 3 chemin du Rupt du Moulin, the craft house holds an exhibition and sale of objects by local craftspeople: wood, basketry, toys, honey, jams and syrups. It opens every afternoon of the school holidays, from 2.30pm to 6.30pm from 18 to 31 October 2026 according to the listing grid, and by appointment only the rest of the year (+33 6 15 17 04 87). Free workshops for members take place on holiday Wednesdays, by reservation.

The Vosges textile museum

Housed in a former weaving mill dating from 1855, the museum shows how cotton becomes thread and then cloth, with spinning and weaving demonstrations. It is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to noon and 2pm to 6pm, until 31 October 2026. The museum website then announces an annual closure from 1 November to 14 December inclusive: the last chance of the season therefore falls during the holidays. Admission is 6 euros for an adult and 3.50 euros for a child aged 10 to 16, free under 10.

During the school holidays, the tourist office listing mentions Thursday Weaving for families at 2.30pm. The website describes a 45-minute visit adapted to children, followed by a workshop on small looms, with a diploma given to each child. For more on the place itself, see our article on the Ventron textile museum.

Planning the day

As for timing, the farm tour is held in the morning on Fridays and Sundays, which leaves the afternoon for the craft house (2.30pm to 6.30pm) or the museum until 31 October. On Thursdays, the farm tour (2.30pm to 4pm) and the museum’s Weaving for families (2.30pm) start at the same time: you have to choose. The guide to Ventron covers the rest of the commune.
