Gérardmer has its own treetop adventure park too, just steps from the lake. Here are the courses, the prices by package and the minimum age, to help plan a family outing on the shores of the “pearl of the Vosges”, alongside or instead of the treetop adventure course in La Bresse.
The Acro-Sphère park in Gérardmer
The Acro-Sphère adventure park sits at 50 Chemin du Bas du Launard in Gérardmer, in the Cirque Sauvage area, about 200 metres from the lake. It offers 16 courses of varying difficulty, with platforms set between 3 and 40 metres high and ziplines reaching up to 200 metres long. Every line uses a continuous lifeline system, the same safety principle as the park in La Bresse: there’s no way to unclip between two stations.
The park also runs the Sentier des Chatouilles, a barefoot sensory trail about a kilometre long, along with Explor’Games (an orienteering game in the style of an escape room) and an indoor escape room open year round by booking.
Packages and prices
The park works on a package system, each one giving access to a set number of courses:
- Kid: 10 euros, 2 adapted courses, about 1 hour, from age 4 and 1 metre tall
- Découverte: 15 euros, 6 courses (3 green, 1 blue, 2 red), about 1h30
- Aventuriers: 25 euros, 13 courses (3 green, 2 blue, 4 red, 4 black), about 3h30
- Super Aventuriers: 32 euros, 14 courses (the same plus one intense black course), about 4 hours

Minimum age and courses for children
Access starts from age 4, provided the child is at least 1 metre tall, on the Kid package designed for younger children with two short, supervised courses. Taller children (once they meet the height requirement for the other packages) can then move up to the green and blue courses of the Découverte package, then to the red and black levels reserved for teens and adults comfortable with heights.
For families with very young children, La Bresse offers a Kid course from age 3, which may tip the balance if a child is under 4.
Opening hours and season
The Acro-Sphère park runs on a seasonal schedule:
- May and June: open weekends and public holidays
- July and August: open daily from 10am
- Rest of the year: groups welcome by reservation
The park states that same-day booking isn’t possible, but that visitors are welcome without an appointment outside of that case. At peak season, booking the day before remains the safest option to avoid finding a fully booked slot.
La Bresse or Gérardmer for treetop adventure
Both resorts have their own park, around twenty minutes’ drive apart. The one in La Bresse goes down to age 3 with a ground-level Kid course, and offers 5 levels of courses up to a sporty black course for adults. The one in Gérardmer, Acro-Sphère, is built around 16 courses spread across 4 packages, with longer ziplines and a forest-edge site just steps from the lake.
For a family with a 3 year old, La Bresse remains the better fit. For a group of teens or adults looking for a wide range of courses in a single outing, the Super Aventuriers package in Gérardmer offers more black courses. Combining treetop adventure with other activities in Gérardmer
A treetop adventure outing in Gérardmer pairs easily with a walk around the lake, a summer swim or an evening in town. Gérardmer has a livelier nightlife and event calendar than La Bresse: electro parties by the lake in summer, or the fantasy film festival in January for movie fans. What to bring
As with any high ropes course: closed-toe shoes are required, dress for the day’s weather, and tie back long hair. The harness and lanyards are provided by the park on arrival, along with a safety briefing before heading up to the first stations.
